In September we celebrated Rosh Hashonah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippor, the Day of Atonement. For us, Rosh Hashonah was fairly uneventful. For me, Yom Kippor was more important than it's been in previous years. I guess it's something about turning 40.

September is also birthday month. First we celebrated Glynis' birthday with a wonderful dinner at the House of Prime Rib. Then Haley's 2nd birthday party was on the 22nd, and Val and Mom threw a wonderful surprise party for my 40th birthday on the 29th.

Val and I went to the Triton company picnic on the 20th. Next year we'll take the kids, since there were so many things for them to do.

Haley had her 2-year checkup at the doctor. She's 23 pounds, 4 ounces, and 33 1/2 inches tall, and very healthy.
